About the Role:

S&P Global Market Intelligence is hiring an Associate, Technical Application Support professional to join their Operations Group. This is an exciting entry-level role designed for fresh graduates or candidates with up to 1 year of experience. The position is part of a 24/7 support team, responsible for providing technical assistance and support for enterprise products.

The Team:

You will be joining a team that manages in-office product technical support across all enterprise solutions. The role includes monitoring products, handling queries via email/phone, resolving technical issues related to feeds, APIs, file formats, and performing first-level research.

The Impact:

This team plays a crucial role as the first line of defense for enterprise products. By identifying, troubleshooting, and escalating issues before they reach the client, you directly contribute to ensuring smooth client experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor enterprise products and escalate issues as per standard procedures.
  • Handle client queries, ensuring timely follow-ups and setting clear expectations.
  • Proactively notify clients about delays, enhancements, outages, or performance issues.
  • Research and analyze issues, determine corrective actions, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Develop a strong understanding of products to resolve problems before clients raise them.

Key Technical Skills:

SQL, Python, Application Support, Troubleshooting, Client Communication, Product Monitoring

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s/PG degree in Computer Science, Commerce, or Management.
  • 0–1 year of experience (freshers encouraged to apply).
  • Strong communication and analytical skills.
  • Positive attitude, teamwork spirit, and problem-solving mindset.
  • Ability to adapt to dynamic processes and take ownership of tasks.
  • Willingness to work in rotational shifts (any 5 days a week).

Preferred:

  • Prior experience in technical troubleshooting or application support.
  • Knowledge of SQL and Python.
  • Understanding of financial services and debt markets terminology.
